Republic Records NYC
Christos designed the acoustics for multiple rooms at Republic/UMG Studios in NYC, including a Dolby Atmos reference room, two mix rooms, and a multimedia presentation hall. Thousands of assets have since been mixed in these rooms and approved by UMG for release.

1. What types of spaces do you design?
From small project studios to large-format Dolby Atmos rooms, I design and tune spaces for artists, producers, labels, and broadcasters worldwide.
2. Do you handle Dolby Atmos DARDT compliance?
Yes — every Atmos project includes CAD drawings, loudspeaker layout verification, and measured reports that align with Dolby DARDT and ITU standards.
3. Can you coordinate with contractors or architects?
Definitely. I often work directly with architectural, electrical, and construction teams to ensure acoustic and aesthetic goals are met simultaneously.
4. Do you travel for on-site measurements or tuning?
Yes — I travel for system calibration, RT60/ETC measurements, and full tuning sessions. Travel logistics are included in the proposal.
5. What deliverables are included in a full design package?
You’ll receive CAD floor plans, elevations, 3D visualizations, treatment specs, Sabins/RT60 calculations, and a detailed acoustic report.
6. How far in advance should I book?
Studio design timelines vary, but typically bookings are scheduled 4–6 weeks in advance to allow for measurement, CAD development, and contractor coordination.
7. Can you retrofit an existing room?
Yes — I frequently upgrade existing studios to meet new performance standards without requiring a full rebuild.
